Pier Projects believes contemporary art to be a humanist enquiry, vital to the wellbeing, development and sustainability of individuals, communities and cultures.
We commission and support artists and local communities to develop projects largely in the public realm where we believe its impact to be the most potent.
At present, our work is located in the coastal town of Felixstowe, Suffolk and considers this context in our programming.
Pier Projects was founded and is led by curator Natalie Pace and arts educator Louise Stratford.Between us we share interests in endurance open-water swimming and running which informs a non-dualistic approach to art and health respectively.
Pier Projects is a registered CIC, operating as a not-for-profit.
